Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking a board certified/eligible Heart Failure / Transplant Cardiologist. Inova was the first heart transplant program in the Washington DC metropolitan area, providing excellent heart transplant care for more than 30 years. The internationally recognized advanced heart failure program offers a wide variety of therapies including combined heart-lung and heart-kidney transplant, as well as ventricular assist devices and experimental therapeutics. It comprises an elite team of board-certified Heart Failure / Transplant cardiologists and cardiac surgeons providing the highest level of comprehensive care. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our 13 Heart Failure / Transplant Cardiologist team. This role will provide an opportunity for growth and leadership, research, clinical expertise, and outreach!

Requirements:
• MD from an accredited university medical school.
• Board eligible or board certified in cardiology, preferred fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure
• Current Virginia state medical license and DEA preferred.
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Inova hospitals.
