Job Highlights
BayCare Medical Group is a physician-led medical group seeking a dedicated and compassionate board certified/board eligible Endocrinologist to join our established team of three Endocrinologists, at Morton Plant Hospital, in Clearwater, FL. The successful candidate will provide expert care for patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
The office is located near the hospital campus and consists of various multi-specialty BayCare Medical Group practices, offering a great ability and access to services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inpatient consults and rounding, and outpatient clinic
- Shared 1:4 call schedule, based out of Morton Plant Hospital
- Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients presenting with endocrine-related symptoms and conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine, patient preferences, and clinical judgment.
- Prescribe and manage medications, hormone replacement therapies, and other therapeutic interventions to address hormonal imbalances and improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up appointments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize efficacy and minimize side effects.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, to provide coordinated and integrated care.
- Educate patients and their families about their endocrine disorders, treatment options, and strategies for self-management and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and educational activities to advance the field of endocrinology and enhance patient care.
Position requires: Board Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Florida Medical License
- Proven clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong collaborative abilities and a commitment to teamwork.
