Locum - NP/PA (Emergency Medicine) - Williston, ND

Summary: Williston is in need of an experienced APP for our Emergency Room, beginning as soon as credentialed. The locum will be onsite three days per week, working 12-hour shifts. Looking for a provider from April through June while we hire a permanent provider.

1. Facility: CHI St. Alexius Williston
2. Facility Location: 1301 15th Avenue West Williston, ND 58801
3. Setting: Emergency Department
4. Schedule/Availability Requirements: 4/8/25 - 6/30/25
5. Days per month: The APP works three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends/ holidays
6. Duties: The locum will be onsite to treat patients who present to the Emergency Department. We staff one MD 24/7 in the ER. We also staff one APP daily, working a 12-hour shift from 10 AM to 10 PM
7. EMR: Meditech
8. Support Staff: Full coverage of nursing support staff
9. Reason for Coverage: recruiting for perm
10. Required Procedures: Standard emergency care in a Level 4 trauma center ER
11. Admissions per day, Patients/day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc.
12. 25 bed CAH hospital.
13. Average daily census 12.7; licensed for 25 inpt beds which includes OB, have an additional 19 observation beds
14. Average of 45 patients daily in the ER; Level 4 trauma center

1. Board Certified – REQUIRED
2. ND License – REQUIRED
3. ND DEA ONLY – REQUIRED
4. ACLS, TNCC, PALS, BLS – REQUIRED
5. Clean Malpractice/Background - PREFERRED
6. Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
