- Dr. Zheng is an American Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) Board-certified physician with a wide range of backgrounds in clinical, research, management, and regulatory affairs. He has obtained strong diagnostic skills and clinical intuition in pathology and laboratory medicine with subspecialty expertise in Ob/Gyn and breast pathology, molecular and genetic diagnosis, cancer, and infectious diseases. Dr. Zheng has accumulated valuable academic and hands-on experience in assay development and validation, gene expression and regulation, and many other cutting-edge technologies. Since 2013 he has been serving as Medical Director of Laboratory & Chief Pathologist at Axia Women's Health, the largest women's health care group in the US. Before joining Axia, he was Director of Gynecologic Pathology and Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a fellow member of the College of American Pathology and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
