  • Yun Rose Li, born in Beijing China, completed her MD and PhD in genomics and computational biology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine after graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Chemistry from Duke Univeristy.

    Rose is pursuing a clinical residency in radiation oncology (UCSF) after completing a preliminary medicine internship at Eisenhower Medical Center. She is passionate about applying modern genomic technologies to advancing personalized and targeted therapeutics in radiosensitive cancers, and plans to pursue residency training in radiation oncology. Rose serves on the board of the American-Physician Scientist Association, is a past AMSA Medical Humanities and Public Health Scholar, and consults for CrowdMed and a DreamIt Healthcare Ventures startup.

    Rose is a recipient of the Paul and Daisy Soros and the NIH NRSA F30 Pre-doctoral and F32 Post-doctoral Training Fellowship, as well as a number of clinical grants in palliative care and the use of patient-reported outcomes to improve the quality of cancer care.

    She loves poetry, traveling, Impressionist composers, horse-backing riding and European History.
