- Dr. Tsang is a board-certified medical oncologist, hematologist and lifestyle medicine physician. In addition to providing cutting-edge treatments for cancer and blood diseases, Dr. Tsang regularly advises his patients on nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and complementary healing methods. He emphasizes on biopsychosocial factors, realistic expectations, shared decision-making, quality of life, relapse prevention, and patient self-care. Using this unique Whole Person Oncology approach, Dr. Tsang has been able to optimize clinical outcomes while reducing cancer care costs for both patients and the healthcare system.
Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Tsang teaches at UCLA Center for East West Medicine and California University of Science and Medicine. He is passionate about health education and has developed a new cancer seminar program to empower his patients at Beaver Medical Group. Over the years, he has given many presentations on holistic health, lifestyle medicine, hematology and integrative oncology at universities and community events.
Dr. Tsang is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society for Integrative Oncology and American College of Lifestyle Medicine. His goal is to transform cancer care in the community, making it more integrative, person-centered, cost-effective and sustainable for the future.
