Dr. Duffy and Alivation is a national leader in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for treatment-resistant major depressive disorder (TR-MDD) and other illnesses. TMS is a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment procedure for TR-MDD. Using this treatment, Alivation has treated more than 600 patients while performing more than 10,000 treatment sessions with close to 85% of patients having successful outcomes. In addition to TMS, Dr. Duffy is an expert in utilizing pharmacogenomic testing in patient treatment. Dr. Duffy is also an early innovator and leader in utilizing EEG in the neurocognitive evaluation and treatment of patients across the spectrum of brain, behavioral, primary care and functional wellness.
Dr. Duffy graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN and completed his residency training at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) in Georgia and his Child Fellowship in a combined program with DDEAMC and the University of Georgia.
