- Tyler Hall is an ophthalmic surgeon with experience in cataract and refractive surgery, intraocular lens implants, corneal transplant surgery, pterygium surgery and the medical management of corneal infections and ocular surface disease. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS degree and an MD degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. His ophthalmology training began with a year of clinical research followed by residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Hall has a clinical appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Hall’s clinical interests include laser cataract surgery, astigmatism and presbyopia correcting intraocular lenses and corneal transplantation.
