Summary
- Galileo was founded by Thomas Lee MD, a Harvard-trained internist and pioneering innovator in health care who founded One Medical, the national leader in tech-enabled primary care, and also created the breakthrough medical reference app Epocrates.
After years of working in healthcare, we knew that the current model wasn’t just inconvenient and expensive. It was ineffective.
We re-imagined the relationship between patients and doctors, brought together an exceptional clinical team, and built next-generation technology to empower the dialog that will help people live better, healthier lives.
Our mission is to make healthcare more effective and affordable for all, including the underserved. And we’re developing technology to push the boundaries even further.
