He completed his medical and residency training at The Ohio State University and his pediatric radiology fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Toledo College of Medicine. Dr. Shah is the Program Director for the Pediatric Radiology Body Imaging Fellowship and Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Diagnostic Radiology Fellowship.
Dr. Shah has published in several peer-reviewed journals and spoken at national meetings to advance his field. In addition to clinical interests of nuclear medicine, oncology, and ultrasound, he has a passion for population health and healthcare quality improvement with a focus on adding value to patient care. He is also actively involved with pediatric thyroid cancer and nodule classification research.
Nationally, Dr. Shah is the Chair for the Program Directors committee and Vice Chair for the Nuclear Medicine committee of the Society of Pediatric Radiology. He is also a Board member of the Pediatric Council for the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and is active in the American College of Radiology. At Nationwide Children’s Hospital, he co-chairs the Radiation Safety Committee and is the radiology lead for Bone Mineral Density.
