• Sreek Cherukuri, MD is a board-certified surgeon and noted consumer advocate. In 2008 he became a social entrepreneur. He invented the MDHearingAid, a low-cost hearing aid that has helped over 300,000 people afford hearing aids. He spearheaded a public service effort to increase awareness of the dangers of music players on young persons' ears, which was featured on NBC's Today Show. In addition, he has been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, Crain's, Forbes, CNBC, and many other outlets. He is a student of Ayurvedic medicine (East Indian medicine) and has studied in India with the intent of bridging ancient traditions with modern evidence-based medicine protocols.
