- In 2011, Ryan began working in private practice as research assistant and intern with Dr. Thomas E. Brown, PhD, who was Associate Clinical Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine and Director of the Brown Clinic when it was originally located in Hamden, CT. In 2017, Drs. Kennedy and Brown moved to re-open their ADHD private practice clinic in Manhattan Beach, CA. At the Brown Clinic, they provide expert evaluations for ADHD and Related Disorders and a variety of follow-up services, including: behavior therapy, parent-training, medication management, psychological testing, and psychotherapy.
Ryan regularly participates in scientific research studies and has presented in over a dozen countries at national and international conferences and universities for lectures and workshops to educate professionals on the latest developments for ADHD. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, books and is a co-author of the first open-access eBook published by the World Federation of ADHD.
