Summary
- I provide compassionate, state-of-the-art medical and surgical eye care to all children and to adults with strabismus. As a dedicated patient advocate and educator, I emphasize the critical role ocular health plays in child development and involve my patients and their families throughout the medical decision-making process. As a clinician and reasearcher at UMN, I offer subspecialty expertise in childhood glaucoma management and surgery, complex intraocular and strabismus surgery in children, and tearing and ptosis surgery in healthy and syndromic children. My research focuses on improving glaucoma and eye surgery outcomes for children. My secondary board certification and work in Clinical Informatics helps our patients and doctors focus on their relationships and navigate healthcare more smoothly.
