She received her MD degree in 2017 from East Tennessee State University’s James H. Quillen College of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Jagadish founded the Quillen High School Outreach Program—an organization in which health sciences students become teachers and mentors to help rural high schoolers find their passion for medical careers; since its start, the program has seen tremendous community impact with multiple high school students pursuing health careers in rural Appalachia.

For her efforts, she was awarded the 2023 Outstanding Fellow of the Year by the University of Arizona - Tucson Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Jagadish graduated from the University of Arizona-Tucson's Cardiovascular Disease fellowship in June 2023 and went on to practice General Cardiology in Boston, MA with appointment as Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
