• Dr. Maria Del Pilar Guillermo Prieto Eibl is a neuro-oncologist and neuro-immunologist at NYU Langone Perlmutter Cancer Center. . She received her medical degree from Popular Autonomous University of Puebla State School of Medicine. She completed her Neurology residency, Neuroimmunology and Neuro-oncology fellowships at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is currently serving as the Interim Director of the Neuro-oncology division at NYU.
  
  Dr. Prieto’s clinical activities include the management of primary and secondary tumors of the central nervous system, paraneoplastic disorders, neurological complications of cancer and cancer treatment, with emphasis on immunotherapies. Her research interests include the integration of immuno-oncology and precision medicine in the treatment of brain tumors, leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, neurological complications of immunotherapies management optimization, among others.
  
  She is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, Society for Neuro-Oncology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
