Dr. D’Amore had the privilege of completing his fellowship training at the world-renowned Harvard Medical School – Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. During his fellowship, he gained experience in cutting-edge minimally invasive techniques. His extensive training encompasses a range of advanced procedures, including motion-sparing, ultrasonic, endoscopic, and robotic spine surgery.
Dr. D’Amore is a proud Floridian originally from Orlando, Florida. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where he played lacrosse and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Subsequently, he completed his internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Louisiana State University New Orleans. During his residency, Dr. D’Amore was selected as Chief Resident in his final year. He received accolades such as the Andrew G.S. King Teaching Award and the Jack L. Winters Research Award. Additionally, he was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. D’Amore utilizes a combination of conservative interventions to alleviate pain, restore function, and improve quality of life. If conventional treatments prove ineffective, he offers patients the latest advancements in surgical techniques to eliminate pain and optimize function safely. In addition, he leverages both traditional and minimally invasive techniques when appropriate, ensuring exceptional care toward a swift recovery.
