Paul Steven Yamauchi MD PhD

• Dr. Yamauchi is a dermatologist in private practice and medical director at both the Dermatology Institute & Skin Care Center and Clinical Science Institute in Santa Monica, California. He serves on the editorial board of various journals and on several task force committees for the American Academy of Dermatology. He is the author or co-author of more than 120 peer-reviewed publications, including several books. Dr. Yamauchi has edited a book entitled “Biologic and Systemic Agents in Dermatology”.
  
  Dr. Yamauchi has conducted over 200 clinical research trials as a principal investigator at the Clinical Science Institute in Santa Monica and is recognized as a key opinion leader in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, vitiligo, alopecia areata and other inflammatory skin disorders. He has previously served on the Medical Board for the National Psoriasis Foundation and on the Scientific Advisory Council for the National Eczema Association.
  
  Dr. Yamauchi has been the recipient of many top awards including the Castle Connolly’s listing of American’s Top Doctors, Newsweek Magazine Best Medical Dermatologists, the Marquis Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Super Doctors in Southern California, and the Expert Network.
