- Dr. Hari Parvataneni grew up in Jamaica before training at some of the top institutions in the United States. He did a research fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Internship at the Mayo Clinic, Orthopaedic Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital (Northwell Health), and Arthroplasty Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Parvataneni’s career has been dedicated to the highest-quality arthroplasty care and academic medicine. He has mentored more than fifty arthroplasty surgeons, been awarded seven teaching and mentorship awards, is a national examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and serves on the editorial boards of several major medical journals.
He has proudly provided high-quality care for over fifteen years in Florida, recently as a professor at the University of Florida and as Arthroplasty Division Chief. His collaborative patient-centered work was pivotal in the department achieving its highest ranking ever by US News.
Dr. Parvataneni provides a full spectrum of hip and knee arthroplasty care, including outpatient, muscle-sparing, opioid-sparing and technology-driven surgery. He started the first Academic Outpatient Arthroplasty Program in Florida.
