- Dr. Naftali Kaminski is a Physician-Scientists in New Haven, CT and a tenured professor of medicine, and the Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Yale and Yale-New Haven Hospital. He received his medical degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Hadassah Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in Hadassah Mount-Scopus University Hospital, his Pulmonary Fellowship in Sheba Medical center in Tel-Hashomer, Israel, and a research fellowship at UCSF. Kaminski was the founding Director of the Simmons Center for Interstitial Lung Disease, and has joined Yale as the Chief of Yale-OCCSM in 2013. He specializes in interstitial lung diseases and is renowned for his groundbreaking research, leadership and advocacy. He has been a recipient of multiple awards and recognitions, and is the past president of the Association of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Division Chiefs.
