  • As deputy clinical director of the Mass General Cancer Center, I provide oversight for surgery for cancer center clinical operations across Boston and network sites, encompassing both inpatient and ambulatory care. Additionally, I ensure integration of research and guide strategic and operational initiatives.

    Clinically, I am a board-certified surgical oncologist with a focused clinical and academic interest in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. My research interests broadly include clinical outcomes health services research, prehabilitation research, end-of-life care, and translational/basic scientific laboratory research focusing on the tumor microenvironment and pancreatic cancer stromal desmoplasia.

    Finally, areas of expertise include network development, inpatient and ambulatory clinical care, cancer, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, surgical oncology, minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, academic surgery, outcomes research, physiology, immunology, and philanthropy.
