Summary
- I am a board certified General Internist. I have practiced at U of C for the past 29 years and also teach medical students and residents at the Pritzker School of Medicine. My first academic interest was in nutrition as it was my undergraduate major- this was the link to my interest in medicine. My current academic interest is medical history. I have been reading, studying and have taught a formal course to 4th year Pritzker students since 2002. I have also incorporated medial history in to the Internal Medicine Morning Report conference. Finally, I have been fortunate to partner with the University of Chicago Library and the AAHM to bring medical history alive and relevant for clinical students and housestaff in training.
