- Dr. Michele Kalt is a Cardiologist and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She was voted Most Humanitarian Doctor and has received many teaching awards. She was the personal cardiologist of Los Angeles’ Mayor, Mayor Tom Bradley, and was honored at Los Angeles City Hall. She is a television news spokes person on Women’s Heart Disease and also sits on the board of Admissions for Sackler School of Medicine.
Dr. Kalt is very active with community service , and has brought Cancer Awareness and support to the city of Beverly Hills, with Relay For Life, bringing in over ½ a million dollars towards cancer research as well as family support for those families affected by Cancer. She has received 3 Proclamations from the City of Beverly Hills, as well as from the Beverly Hills School Board, and from the American Cancer Society for her work.
She is active on two Executive Board Committees in the Beverly Hills School System, and goes into the classes teaching science and bringing a love of knowledge to the kids. She makes learning science fun for children of all ages. She has brought the Science Olympics to Beverly Vista School, for which they have consistently been awarded gold medals at both the elementary and middle school levels under her tutelage, and the Science Fair to all 5 Beverly Hills schools. She is active at her Temple, Temple Emmanuel, by both sitting on the religious school committee and by singing in the Choir.
She is the proud mother of three wonderful children, is an advocate for health and fitness, and has been honored by The Boy Scouts of America, receiving their most prestigious Summit Award, for Community Service and Dedication, and was also voted top honor at Temple Emmanuel of Beverly Hills as their Woman of Valor.
She recently received an award from the mayor and city council of Beverly hills for making this community and world a better place.
