Summary
- Board certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty certification in sports medicine.
I treat an assortment of orthopedic conditions including those of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. I have a particular interest in hip arthroscopy for the treatment hip impingement (FAI), labral tears, and failed prior surgical treatment. I have experience in arthroscopic hip labral reconstruction in select patients.
I joined Apex Orthopedics & Sports Medicine (formerly Carondelet Orthopaedic Surgeons & Sports Medicine) in September 2016 after serving as an orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon in the US Navy at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD where I focused on shoulder instability, rotator cuff pathology, hip arthroscopy and complex knee reconstruction. After a fulfilling Navy career, I am excited be back in the Midwest and living in the Kansas City community.
I see patients at the Overland Park, KS office (I-435 & Nall) and at our second location in Belton, MO (located in the doctor's building on the Belton Hospital campus @ I-49 & E. 171st St), which opened Nov 2016.
