Summary
- Dr. Raab received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame (1985), and his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago (1989). He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, in 1994, and received the Outstanding Surgical Resident Teaching award.
Dr. Raab then served as an orthopedic surgeon at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon, GA, providing a wide range of general orthopedic surgery services, including trauma and fracture care; sports injuries; total joint replacement; shoulder, hand and elbow surgery; and hip, knee, and ankle surgery. He was a member of the Joint Replacement Service and Chief of the Hand, Elbow, and Shoulder Surgery Service. He was also a member of the teaching faculty for the Army orthopedic residency training program.
Following four years of active duty, Dr. Raab practiced in Georgia and Ohio, and joined Premier Orthopedics in 2011. He is Board Certified in orthopedic surgery; a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association for Hand Surgery, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Raab maintains office hours at Miami Valley Hospital North in Englewood and at Fairfield Road Physician Offices in Beavercreek.
