- Dr. L. Kristin Shadow, MD, has dedicated her professional life to supporting the health and wellness of children and teens. She has worked extensively in child and adolescent psychiatry over the past 23 years. She has experience in caring for adults as well - especially those with developmental disabilities. A key part of Dr. Shadow’s style is a careful diagnosis and detailed medication management of psychiatric challenges. She has in depth experience diagnosing and treating Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Learning Disorders, and many other psychiatric difficulties. She finds that it is critical to work collaboratively with therapists and primary care physicians in treating her patients to obtain the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Shadow graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and subsequently completed a Triple Board Residency (Pediatrics/General Psychiatry/Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2000. In the past she was board certified in Pediatrics and General Psychiatry. Currently, she is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry She serves as a voting board member of the US Autism Association. Dr. Shadow has lived in Davis County, Utah since 1995. She enjoys hanging out with her husband, two children, and two dogs, as well as reading, watching movies, paddle boarding, bike riding, and cooking.
