Overview of Dr. Lustig

Dr. Lustig is a board certified Otolaryngologist with a sub-specialty certification in Neurotology. He currently serves as the Howard W. Smith Professor and Chair of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Columbia University and New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia. He specializes in disorders of the ear and skull base, with a special emphasis on cochlear implantation, cholesteatoma, otosclerosis, acoustic neuromas/vestibular schwannomas, and other surgery relating to hearing. He also runs a research lab exploring cochlear gene therapy for genetic causes of hearing loss.
