Dr. Laurence Torpey is a family physician an interest in metabolic syndrome, prediabetes, and enjoys teaching students and his patients. He received his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, was a Family Practice Resident at the University of Rochester/Highland Hospital and has been practicing for over 20 years. He has interest in behavioral medicine and rural health and is experienced in hypertension, diabetes mellitus, Metabolic Syndrome, adolescent medicine, smoking cessation, and cognitive behavior therapy.
