- Dr. Ken Anderson, MD, FISHRS, ABHRS is the founder and medical director of the Anderson Center for Hair & Aesthetics, is a triple-board certified surgeon, holding board certificates in the specialties of Hair Restoration Surgery, Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. In 2005 Dr. Anderson founded the American Academy of Hair Restoration Surgery with the goal of providing executive courses in all aspects of the specialty to physicians looking to enter the field. Dr. Anderson founded the Anderson Center for Hair in 2012, which has two locations in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Dr. Anderson was the first physician to offer the ARTAS® robotic hair transplant system in the State of Georgia in 2013. His practice is one of 2 national training centers for the Restoration Robotics Corporation, the company that designed and manufactured the robotic system. Dr. Anderson hosts Master Classes in ARTAS® robotic hair transplant surgery three times a year, where surgeons from around the world visit his center for advanced ARTAS® training. He is an internationally recognized expert in hair restoration surgery. Since 2003 he has been performing exclusively hair restoration surgery. Dr. Anderson was in private practice in Beverly Hills, California, USA, until 2008. In that year he was recruited by EMORY University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to serve as the Chief of Hair Restoration Surgery. From 2008 to 2011 Dr. Ken Anderson held this position with EMORY Healthcare, teaching resident physicians and delivering Grand Rounds presentations to the faculty and staff of the Departments of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and Dermatology. Dr. Anderson has centered his practice and career on the specialty of hair restoration surgery, providing patients from 35 different countries (and counting) natural and permanent hair restoration surgery results, and a wonderful patient experience.
