• Dr. Jon Belsher is the former Chief Medical Officer for MedSpring Urgent Care, an aggressively expanding, for-profit company founded in 2011, with growth to over 35 centers across five large metropolitan markets including a joint venture with prestigious Partners HealthCare in Boston, MA. Currently, Dr. Belsher serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer for UCI Medical Affiliates in Columbia, South Carolina.
  
  For Jon, increasing healthcare access and decreasing costs for consumers is a continual motivator to keep pushing the envelope. He finds his work in healthcare to be extremely rewarding as it allows him to play a major role in the improvement of large numbers of lives through quality healthcare service offerings.
  
  Additional positions held by Dr. Jon Belsher include Staff Intensivist and Assistant Professor with Scott & White Healthcare; Director of Medical Operations for the start-up and for-profit company, WhiteGlove Health; and Chief Medical Officer for Extensor Health, a company focused on delivering specialist care via telemedicine.
  
  After receiving his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern, Dr. Jon Belsher completed his residency at the world renowned Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Scottsdale, AZ, and fellowship at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, MN. During this time, Dr. Belsher was awarded “Teacher of the Year” twice and the prestigious “Chief Fellow.”
