- The clinical practice of Dr. John Casper focuses on evaluation and treatment of Substance Use Disorders & Co-occurring Disorders. Dr. Casper promotes abstinence based recovery but is also an advocate and expert in medically-assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex/Sublocade), methadone, extended-release injected naltrexone (Vivitrol) and other modalities. Clinical objectives involve management of isolated addictive disease or addictive disease with psychiatric illness, medical illness, chronic pain and acute pain.
