- I am a board-certified dermatologist, cosmetic surgeon and pediatrician as well as the CEO of LovelySkin.com, the 12th largest online seller of cosmetics based on Internet Retailer data.
Professional distinctions include being one of six founders of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery (ASCDAS), past president of ASCDAS, past president of the Nebraska Dermatology Society and author of multiple articles in reference dermatology literature.
In addition, my clinic has an active research department, having performed over 250 clinical trials since 1993, ranging from neurotoxin trials to filler trials as well as psoriasis, acne, eczema and device trials.
Along with my son, Daniel Schlessinger MD, I developed FixMySkin 1% Hydrocortisone Balm, a patented stick which contains 1% hydrocortisone. This has been covered by the New York Times, Allure. It has sold over 250,000 units.
