Summary
- This is Dr. Hamid Roodneshin, MD, FACC, FSCAI. I'm interested in Interventional Cardiology job opportunities where I can join a group of excellent, compassionate colleagues and team members, to provide the best possible Cardiovascular Care to the community. I'm US citizen, and have never been involved in any malpractice incident.
I'm highly motivated, hard-working, a great team player, and strive to provide the highest quality of care to all my patients. I appreciate importance of building a great rapport with the referring physicians.
I have 4 board certifications: Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. I have extensive training (COCATS Level 2, UW-Madison), work experience in all aspects of cardiovascular procedures (Echo, TEE, Nuclear Cardiology). My COCATS Level 3 training in Interventional Cardiovascular procedures (SUNY- Stony Brook) includes special emphasis, expertise in acute STEMI and cardiogenic shock, Trans-Radial PCIs, and Peripheral vascular procedures.
I've performed over 2,600 coronary/graft interventions including complex PCIs, 550 acute STEMIs, and 1,000s of coronary IVUS and FFR, over 1,800 Trans-Radial diagnostic Cath & PCI, acute STEMI. My expertise includes percutaneous placement of VAD (IABP, Impella® 2.5) for treatment of critically-ill patients presenting with STEMI and profound cardiogenic shock. I’m certified in several VCDs including AngioSeal, PerClose AT, ProGlide.
My experience in PAD treatment consist of 150 PTA procedures, including SilverHawk™ Plaque Excision System, Jetstream™ Atherectomy System, and AngioSculpt® Scoring Balloon Catheter. I’m certified in IVC filter implantation for acute PE/DVT indications. My training in percutaneous ASD/PFO closure, carotid and renal stenting was adequate for Interventional Cardiology Board Certification.
