Summary
- I am a board certified Neurosurgeon practicing in Cody Wyoming. I perform cutting edge minimally invasive spine, treat trauma and most intracranial disease as well.
I served 22 years in The US Army as an enlisted man, officer, reserve component and active duty. I fought for this country in Iraq and other locations, and I am proud to have served in that fashion, but I probably would not fight for this country now in its current state of values and laws.
I believe in a participatory model of medicine where surgeon and patient work together to make an improvement, both in the patients' disease and the world.
I don't hand out narcotics or disability freely because I believe both cause more problems than they solve.
I live in a rural setting by choice. I hunt and fish, and I drive a truck that has a carbon footprint larger than some east coast states.
I am a practicing Christian, and I do my best to live by the good book, but I make no claim to perfection.
