  • I am a family physician with a passion for medical education and international medical missions. I practice full spectrum family medicine (inpatient, outpatient, critical care, OB, minor surgery). My career has involved work in the U.S. Army (active duty for 14 years and the SC Army National Guard for 8 years), Self Regional Healthcare in South Carolina (1994-2012), and now Florida State University College of Medicine and Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers, Florida. I have now been involved in starting family medicine residency progams in Kabul, Afghanistan (2008-9) and Fort Myers (2012-current).
