- Frederick Buechel Jr MD is the Director of Robotic Assisted Knee Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, and Lenox Health Greenwich Village, and the Founder of the Robotic Joint Center.
He is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
He is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, Fellowship Trained in Joint Reconstruction from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Buechel is an internationally renowned expert in Partial Knee Replacement & Total Knee Replacement using the Mako Robotic System, and has performed over 2,000 Mako™ Robotic Partial Knee procedures on the medial and lateral sides, in the USA and internationally.
