Summary
- Dr. Ramay earned her Medical Degree with a Distinction in Bioethics at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY where she was awarded the Albert M. Yunich Prize, for excellence in Gastroenterology. She is dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She has additional subspecialty training in Interventional Endoscopy and extensive experience with endoscopic therapies for Barrett's esophagus-associated dysplasia and esophageal cancer. Her research interests include efficacy of endoscopic ablation therapy including radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and liquid nitrogen spray cryotherapy in the management of Barrett's esophagus-associated dysplasia and esophageal adenocarcinoma. She has co-authored numerous book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (GIE) and presentations at Digestive Disease Week (DDW).
Her clinical interests include general gastroenterology including esophageal disease as well as therapeutic and interventional endoscopy.
