- Dr. Lengyel is a Gynecologic Oncologist and Chair of the Department of Ob&Gyn at The University of Chicago. He received his M.D. from the University of Munich and trained in Munich, Stanford and at UCSF. He is board certified in Ob&Gyn and Gyn Oncology.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lengyel runs an ovarian cancer research laboratory, where he studies the biology of ovarian cancer metastasis and searches for novel drugs for treatment. Dr. Lengyel has an outstanding level of expertise and leadership in the surgical treatment of ovarian cancer and a deep commitment to improving women’s health in general.
