He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and MD Anderson Cancer Center, followed by an advanced endoscopy fellowship at UTHealth in Houston. He worked as assistant professor in Gastroenterology at UTHealth in Houston, prior to moving to Baylor Scott & White - Lakeway in the Austin area.
Clinical interests include reflux management, Barrett’s esophagus management, bile duct diseases, bile duct stones, gallstones, pancreatic diseases, pancreatitis, pancreatic cysts management, pancreatic cancer detection / screening, colon cancer detection / screening, colon polyp removal, early gastrointestinal cancer removal, EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), luminal stents, upper endoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy and colonoscopy.
