  Dr. Vega was born and raised near Fresno, California and received her undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She then attended medical school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. She completed her general surgery residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, NY. Following the completion of her residency she enthusiastically joined New Look New Life to complete an accredited fellowship in general body and facial cosmetic surgery, accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
