- Dr. Kenneth L. Weiss, MD is the Founder and CEO of ABSIST LLC and its ImagiCenter® venture. Harvard, Michigan, Stanford and Ohio State University trained, he is a National Merit and John Harvard Scholar; world renowned academic neuroradiologist, MRI expert and visionary innovator; with scores of peer reviewed papers, international presentations, US Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks.
In the last six years, Dr. Weiss has been issued four US utility patents describing novel methods used to auto-prescribe, analyze, reconstruct, label, localize, display; and guide multimodality medical imaging and intervention. He has several US patents pending. Dr. Weiss is widely recognized for his intellectual property involving automated spine numbering and prescriptions, which is now commercially available. At RSNA 2014, a non-exclusive licensing agreement covering automated spine technologies was signed with Siemens.
A diplomat of the American Board of Radiology (ABR), Dr. Weiss maintains ABR certification of added qualifications (CAQ) in neuroradiology. Most recently he served as Professor of Radiology, Director of NeuroImaging Research, and MIND Center Director of NeuroImaging and Biomarkers at the University of Mississippi .
