Summary

  • I completed Neurology Residency training with a Research track at Case Western Reserve University in 2016 and then completed Fellowship in Movement Disorders under Dr. Stanley Fahn in 2018 at Columbia University. I then completed the Master of Science program in Health and Clinical Informatics from Oregon Health & Sciences University in 2022 and achieved Board Certification in Clinical Informatics in 2023. I started my independent career 5 years ago at the College of Medicine, University of Vermont (UVM) and at the UVM Medical Center (UVMMC) in July 2018.

    As a movement disorders neurologist, I have over 5 years of outpatient clinical experience, with a focus on Parkinson’s disease (PD), deep brains stimulation programming and botulinum toxin injections, as well as PD clinical trials and inpatient Neurology Attending experience. As a physician informatician, I have been serving the department of Neurology since 2021 and recently appointed as the Director of Neurology Informatics in 2023.

    As a medical informatics researcher, I have secured two federally funded research grants, including an NIH K23-equivalent award in 2021 and NIH R01-equivalent award in 2023, from the US Department of Defense (DOD). As a medical education researcher, I have developed a novel curriculum in the domain of health system science in with institutional grant funding from the UVMMC Foundation in 2020.
