• I am Dr. Aciel Sagrera-Mulen, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, APRN, a dedicated healthcare provider with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare system. My professional journey started with Nursing School in 1996, where I discovered my passion for healthcare. I expanded my expertise over the years and became a Doctor a few years later, further refining my skills and dedication to patient care.
  
  My career has included experience in Oral Medicine, Surgery, Family Medicine, and Psychiatry. In my home country of Cuba, I specialized as a Facial and Neck Surgeon, gaining invaluable experience in managing complex patient cases with precision and care.
  
  After transitioning to the United States, I pursued further professional development, becoming a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and earning a Doctoral Degree to enhance my ability to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. My practice is rooted in a holistic approach, focusing on treating the whole person rather than just symptoms, with a commitment to empathy and personalized treatment.
  
  In addition to clinical care, I am deeply passionate about education and academia. I serve as a professor of Family Medicine and Psychiatry and teach foundational courses for postgraduate health professionals, including master’s and doctoral students. My teaching philosophy is centered on evidence-based knowledge and fostering the next generation of compassionate healthcare providers.
  
  My approach to patient care is defined by active listening, assertive and precise diagnostics, and the implementation of evidence-based treatments, ensuring that every patient receives a holistic and empowering healthcare experience.
  
  Beyond my professional life, I am a devoted husband and father to my beloved daughter, cherishing the strong relationships within my family. These bonds inspire my dedication, compassion, and commitment.
