Dr. Gupta's groundbreaking work in opioid overdose prevention includes being the first women physician anesthesiologist appointed by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) to expand naloxone access at the U.S. FDA and serving as the first women to co-chair of the ASA Committee on Prescription Opioid Abuse.
