He is recognized both nationally and internationally for his educational contributions. For over 25 years, he has led board review programs for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and he is the founding and current chair of the AAFP Family Medicine Board Review Express™. He is a frequent presenter at the AAFP Family Medicine Experience (FMX) and teaches the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) Knowledge Self-Assessments nationwide. Dr. Weismiller is also a prolific author, with numerous publications on women's and children's health issues. His advocacy for empowering individuals to make informed healthcare choices is a testament to his commitment to patient care. David and his husband Brian have three amazing daughters, a daughter-in-law with a natural talent to make everyone around her happy, and two sons-in-law who, like us, listen to women! David and Brian make their home in Henderson.
