David Lichtenstein graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in New Jersey. Master's degree in Moscow as a scholar of the World Health Organization at the International School of Public Health. Lichtenstein finished his specialization in social medicine and health care organizations in Prague. Obtained PhD at the age of 34 and two years later became Research Associate on the basis of published works.

    David Lichtenstein was Director of Development, Clinical Center of Flushing, NY for about 3 years; Head of the organization of health care in the Institute of Public Health about 8 years, Secretary for Health at the City Hall for 4 years, previously Deputy Secretary, where he initiated the project "New York - healthy city." Director of KBC Healthier some 10 years ago, when the institution became one of the best hospitals in the state of New York. In December 1991 David Lichtenstein was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Health in the Department of Health Service.
    Lichtenstein was president of the Council of the University of New York.
    David is author of over 250 scientific papers published in international and national journals and conferences. Thirty of them brings to medical insurance and financing of health care, as well as on the functioning and operation of the hospital. He has published 24 books, including medical and medical lexicon screening in medicine. Both publications are both in scope and in content encyclopaedic.
    David Lichtenstein established a fruitful collaboration with Rush University in Chicago, which resulted in publishing two books, which is the principal author and editor: - "New Chalanges in Health Care"; - "Modren health care glossary." Author of numerous papers in the field of social medicine and health management, and who teaches at the Faculty of Medicine.
    Lichtenstein also initiated and designed the course "Modern Hospital", accredited to second year of study as an elective subject, who teaches at the School of Medicine.
    In the field of management good results in practical work as director of KBC Healthier, and previously as Secretary of Health.
