    Minogue Award: Directly involved in University of Maryland Charles Regional’s winning submission was entitled Improving Sepsis Outcomes Through Coordinated Early Recognition, Assessment and Treatment. UM-CRMC improved survival rates for patients with life-threatening sepsis by 9.8% using a team approach to develop evidence-based guidelines for early recognition, assessment and treatment.

    As a physician champion for University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center's Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) project, implemented a highly successful product dramatically reducing medical order entry times and errors.

    Directly involved in the implementation of highly successful Rapid Medical Evaluation (RME) system that allowed on its first day at UM-CRMC to increase front-end through-put by 60% (median 145/day) to 235 patients! Dramatically reducing LBME = 1 while ensuring the safety of our community.
