Summary

• Dr. Lazar is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with a special interest in cardiac surgery. He earned his Bachelor degree at Queens College and then went on to obtain his medical degree from Tel Aviv University. Dr. Lazar subsequently completed his anesthesia residency at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
  
  Dr. Lazar continued his training completing a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he obtained a highly specialized skill set in the management of critically ill patients for bypass and valve heart surgery.
  
  Dr. Lazar is board certified by the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) in advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. He also has authored and coauthored several well known papers related to cardiac surgery and hemostasis as well as anesthetic management of patient with ventricular assist devices.
  
  Dr. Lazar is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist. He currently practices medicine at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood Florida.
