Summary
- I love seeing patients and supporting them in their personal journey toward health and happiness. My passions are helping patients with complex Infectious Diseases in both the inpatient and outpatient settings as well as caring for people living with HIV. As a clinician-educator, teaching medical students and residents brings me the utmost joy.
I am particularly interested in HIV, Tropical/Travel Medicine, MedEd, and NTM infections.
I love seeing patients in Portuguese and Spanish and I am passionate about the social justice avenue of Infectious Diseases & HIV Medicine in its intersections with policy, equity, anti-racism, and LGBTQIA+ Health.
I look forward to using my skills as a lifelong learner, internationally-minded, and compassionate physician to be an attentive listener to all the different patients I encounter.
