Overview of Dr. Wiseman

Dr. Wiseman received her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame and earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University in 2001. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2005 while simultaneously earning her masters degree in public health. After graduating from residency, she moved to Boston where she was the attending psychiatrist in the partial hospital at Cambridge Hospital . In addition to being an instructor at Harvard Medical school, she was awarded a Miles Shore Research Grant in 2008 to study how physicians in different practice settings manage chronic mental illness.

After moving to Chicago in 2010, she worked at Northwestern University as a consultation liaison psychiatrist and provided education and supervision to psychiatry residents, in addition to seeing outpatients in the Northwestern Memorial Faculty Foundation.

Dr. Wiseman currently works with patients over the age of 18 and her special interests include treatment of mood disorders and anxiety disorders.
