- Claudia Gragnoli, MD, is an endocrinologist who has also been practicing integrative medicine. She completed her medical education at the University La Sapienza of Rome, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago, a PhD from the University of Tor Vergata of Rome, and post-doctoral fellowship at Mass General Hospital. Her professional experience includes roles as an instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, an Assistant Professor at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, and an Associate Professor at the University of Florida and Jefferson University. Dr. Gragnoli has conducted and published research on the genetics of maturity-diabetes of the young, type 2 diabetes, type 2 diabetes complications, type 2 diabetes and depression comorbidity, and polycystic ovary syndrome. She has published several studies reporting novel genes and variants related to polycystic ovary syndrome and the comorbidity of depression and type 2 diabetes, including genomic studies in type 2 diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome.
